Nov 05, 2025

A Missouri Lottery player in Chesterfield who won a $1 million Powerball prize plans to give back this holiday season.

“Our plan is just to enjoy it, have fun with our kids and give back to the local community,” the winner shared. “We’ll probably adopt some families for Christmas and get to see other people enjoy it. It makes the holidays a lot more fun.”

The winning ticket, purchased at Edison Express, 158 Long Road in Chesterfield, matched all five white-ball numbers drawn in the Oct. 18 drawing to win the $1 million prize. The winning numbers that night were 3, 11, 27, 40 and 58, with a Powerball number of 10.

Powerball is a multi-state Draw Game with drawings held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays at 9:59 p.m. Wednesday night’s jackpot is an estimated $438 million.

In FY25, players in St. Louis County won more than $195.9 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received more than $18.8 million in commissions and bonuses, and more than $47.9 million in Lottery proceeds went to education programs in the county.
