A  Missouri Lottery player uncovered the first $100,000 top prize on a “Holiday Lights” Scratchers ticket after the new game caught her eye at Walmart, 2100 N. Main Ave., in Mountain Grove.

“It was colorful and really cute,” she explained. “I like that it’s not fast play. I like the ones that you sit and do for a little while.”

To date, players have won more than $4.2 million in prizes in the “Holiday Lights” game, with more than $8.3 million in prizes yet to be claimed – including three additional top prizes of $100,000.

Through Jan. 6, players can also enter the “Dashing through the Dough” holiday second-chance promotion for a chance to win up to $30,000 cash, taxes-paid. Promotion entries are gained for eligible Draw Games or holiday-themed Scratchers tickets entered into players’ My Lottery® Players Club accounts. Weekly drawings will also award a total of 600 prizes valued at $300. 

In FY25, Wright County players won more than $4 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received more than $285,000 in commissions and bonuses, and more than $1.4 million in Lottery proceeds went to education programs in the county.
